The Defias Blog started out as the first blog attempt from someone who hates blogs and blogging in general. At first, it was to be a fun chronicle of one EVE-Online pirate’s shot at building an in-game corporation. It would be open to all of that corporation’s members and would be more of a ‘group’ thing than one person’s blog.

As it turned out, there would be only one post from someone other than myself (I’m a Carebear, by Shan) and over the course of a year, it’s become more of a personal MMO blog with both chronicles presented in-character and discussion/opinion articles which are anything but in-character!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the folks who have read and commented on my blog over the last 12 months. It’s made the whole thing more fun for me and introduced me to a whole list of blogs that I actually do enjoy reading!

Du’uma Fiisi Integrated Astrometrics is a fictional, player-run corporation existing within the game EVE-Online. Du’uma Fiisi’s primary focus is in pvp with a strong foundation in the roleplaying aspect of EVE. Its “in-character” premise is that of a Pro-Minmatar terrorist organization. Unlike most Pro-Minmatar groups in EVE, Du’uma Fiisi is not necessarily supportive of the Minmatars’ government, but instead concerns itself more with violencing the spaceships of anybody it perceives to be working against the best interests of the Minmatar people (that is, just about everybody).
