¶ I skipped the shower when I woke up this afternoon, heading right to my capsule and bringing The Perfect Storm’s systems online. I didn’t waste any time announcing my presence to the fleet commanders in O-2. A glance at the Local comm channel showed 228 pilots connected, and the number was rising. I reported before that the NCC had managed to replace their cynosural system jammer under cover of an Avatar-class titan piloted by Papa Pod of Pure. alliance. But we already had plenty of capital assets in place, so G00DFELLAS high command was showing no sign of letting up on the siege of O-2.

¶ Interesting series of events for G00DFELLAS, lately.
¶ When I joined Comply Or Die, <GODS> lived in the Curse region where it regularly terrorized all manner of RSF pets, from Kraftwerk. in Scalding Pass to Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate in Catch, all the way down to killing people like DEFI4NT in Omist. When I was in DEFI4NT, we used to wonder, “Where does G00DFELLAS live?” so we could go and strike back at them, perhaps, the way they continually struck at us. We did similar in Stain, going after -A- and Stain Empire on their home turf, after all. Turns out, they were having fun basing out of the Angel Cartel’s sovereign territory with the benefit of not needing to defend their home against those who would seek to take it away from them.

¶ Far and wide. Sometimes, that’s how you have to travel in search of fun or profit in New Eden. Sometimes, that’s where you have to look for affordable equipment, especially if you’re like me and have committed so many crimes that the Four Empires don’t allow you in their high-security systems.
¶ If you’re lucky, you’ve got a close friend or two who might be persuaded to pick things up for you and bring them to your lowsec base of operations. I’ve managed to befriend a young Caldari capsuleer with a penchant for Badgers – the last few days, he’s been invaluable as many of the things I need to outfit the “Wendigo” are either unavailable in low-security areas of Molden Heath or they’re ridiculously expensive. It saves me quite a bit of ISK and travel, and what’s more, the Caldari works for Tobacco.
¶ Still, while Tobacco isn’t overly expensive, it adds up. And though CONCORD pays well for killing Angel Cartel employees by the Machariel-load in Omist, that’s not one of my favorite pastimes. Not that I mind the wholesale slaughter of less-skilled fighters… it’s just boring. Besides, I think of myself as a pirate and shouldn’t a pirate make his living off of other capsuleers? It was time to hunt.

¶ It’s been a hell of a long time since I chronicled the progression of my corporation’s development in EVE, and I apologize for that. So much has been happening, and so quickly, that I’ve been kept pretty busy. And when I have had time to make an entry, the things that I would have to write about have been of such a sensitive nature that they couldn’t be spoken of so publicly.
¶ That said, I will do my best to bring anyone who has been watching this blog develop up to speed. Note that any inaccuracies or vague statements are due to my not being able to disclose every detail for security reasons.

¶ Right, then, so when we incorporated The Defias Brotherhood within EVE-Online, we did so with the intention of pursuing careers in piracy. [DFIAS] has existed for about a month, now, and we’ve found that perhaps having such a strong PvP focus is more complicated and expensive than it first appeared, especially as we’re still in the growing stage. Add to that the fact that we are now a part of VENOM Alliance, and it takes away one of the pirate’s largest sources of income – the griefers’ wardec.
¶ So we have decided that, while we will not discourage any of our pilots from engaging in activities CONCORD would frown upon individually or in gangs, we will not make corporate-sponsored ops out of such activities. We have also determined that, for the interest of self-reliance, it would be in our best interests to try to develop an industrial core within the corporation and grow that alongside the combat/PvP core.
